“What you are is God’s gift to you, what you become is your gift to God.” Hans Urs Von Balthasar

I remember Band Aid having a big effect on me back in 1984. It must have had the same effect on many people, because I’m still hearing this moving song played on the Christmas Music Stations every day.

Love it when musicians get together to create a beautiful song or video for charity! It’s the perfect example of using their gifts and talents for a good cause. We can also use our gifts to show love and support by…
If you are musical, sing Christmas Carols at a retirement home.
If you are a great cook, bake something homemade for someone.
If you are crafty, make what we call a “homemader” (My family use to require that we make at least one gift for each family member)
If you dance, make a video and surprise people with it through email.
If you are good with words, write someone a heartfelt poem.

Wellness is doing what you love and loving what you are doing. When doing it for someone else, we also reap the benefits 🙂
